Concrete
Canvas uses a patented material technology, a cement
impregnated cloth, bonded to an inflatable mould to
create a structure that can be deployed in 40 minutes
and is ready to use in 12 hours. The 16m2 prefabricated
unit comes delivered in a small sack and can be deployed
by one person with no tools or training. The use of
inflation creates a curved form that is optimized for
compressive loading and allows us to use a very thin
concrete wall. Ideal for roof and basin structures.

Farm
Radio Network is a Canadian based organization that
works in direct partnership with about 250 radio
broadcasters in more than 35 African countries to fight
poverty and food insecurity. It supports
broadcasters in meeting the needs of local small-scale
farmers and their families in rural communities. Farm
radio Network gathers information about successful,
low-cost practices in sustainable agriculture,
nutrition, health and community development, and
produces radio scripts for their partner-broadcasters
and others engaged in rural development. They, in turn,
share the information with an audience of millions of
farmers and their families around the world.
