VENUE AND LODGING

The workshop will be held at the National Institute of Rural Technology (NIRD) located near Hyderabad, India. Room and board will be available at the NIRD's guesthouses at $10-12 per day. Bed-linen and towels will be available in each guesthouse room.

Room and board charges must be paid on arrival at NIRD. Please let us know (ewbindia@ewb-india.com) of your lodging needs so we can book lodging for you. 
 

TRAVEL

Hyderabad is a metropolitan city (also a historical city) in south central India. Several options are available to reach Hyderabad:

Air: Direct international flights to Hyderabad are available on Emirates, Air India, Lufthansa, Indian Airlines, KLM, Kuwait Airlines, Sri Lankan Airlines, Silk Air and Malaysian Airlines from Amsterdam, Dubai, Paris, London, Frankfurt, Kuwait, Colombo, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Travelers from Europe, USA and elsewhere may either change at the above airports or at Bombay (Mumbai) or Delhi, from which there are many daily flights.

Rail: Hyderabad is directly connected to Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and numerous other cities and towns. Visit Indian Railways.
